Greatly improved since last time we visited. A professional Service, and well kept gardens. We enjoyed the asparagus menu, and it was real value.

This is a fantastic venue in which to enjoy a decadent afternoon tea. Taking advantage of the recent mild weather we evn sat outside on their garden terrace - what views! The afternoon tea was delicious and the whole hotel had a very luxury yet relaxed feel to it. Having picked up a copy of their events calendar we will be back to try out one of their gourmet nights.

We came for dinner last week and had a really great evening. The A La Carte menu gave a great choice with a strong emphasis on local suppliers and produce. The food was beautifully presented and imaginative. This hotel really is a hidden gem with a relaxed luxury feel, beautiful lounge areas, friendly staff, an amazing spa (although we didnt try it!) and a much loved Hotel dog & cat. I will definately return and try out an afternoon tea by one of the log fires or outside in the warmer months. Just one small comment the restaurant would benefit from some background music to add to the rest of the hotels atmosphere.
