Nailcote Hall is a stately and impressive black and white place in 15 acres of grounds and its Oak Room restaurant is just one of the attractions on offer - the place is also a hotel/cabaret venue/golf and country club.

 Soft lights. beams. polished mahogany tables and silverware all speak romance and opulence - in discreetly hushed tones. of course.

 Not a cheap place but the food is impressive and as opulent and well-presented as
the surroundings. Indeed. some of the desserts could qualify as modern art.
