A rather swish restaurant for little Bidford. this. A pretty riverside setting and balcony promise much for the summer months but it's a cosy enough place the rest of the time too with its modern rustic panelling and smart. candlelit tables.

The menu is a mix-and-match collection. from tiger prawn tempura to whole. baked camembert among the starters and veal chops. spatchcocked poussin and Greek lamb stews among the mains.

Generally decent fare which tries hard to please.
