You couldn't get much more suburban than this place. nestling on a corner of downtown Bearwood. just a few steps away from the busy high street (and the Bear pub) and rows of houses stretching away in every other direction.

 The neat grey exterior. edged with a new smart wall. is matched by a calm. elegant interior. a subtly contemporary yet feelgood backdrop to some surprisingly global food.

 Gnocchi. pasta. roast rib of beef with horseradish. coconut curry. halloumi. Malaysian laksa chicken - all these and more can make an appearance and jolly robust most of it is too. Friendly stuff and proud of it.
