Dial cafe barA laidback and friendly place perfectly situated right next door to the Hippodrome Theatre for those in need of a pre- or post-theatre bite. It's far more of a matey bar than a full-on restaurant experience which may or may not be what you're after. It generally draws a younger crowd but the rustic interior with its stripped floors and bare tables is relaxed and the food keeps it pretty simple with such satisfying staples as potato skins. sausage and mash (with good Cumberland sausage of course). pastas and tuna steaks. Service can be a bit ramshackle. See the original Post review in full on the archive page. Food: Traditional Not ![]() |
