The old Fino site is now occupied by this comfortable Italian restaurant. sister establishent of Geppettos in Wolverhampton.

In spite of the stylishly-modern decor. this is an Italian restaurant of the old school. Starters include half-melon filled wth port and main courses stack up bistecca and pollo in numerous guises.

There's lots of pasta too. as you'd expect. though only a couple of risottos. Fish specials are available daily though not listed on the menu.

It's generous. solidly hearty fare. Not River Cafe-style Italian. granted. but this style of food has legions of fans and hopefully they'll make the trip.
