Hotel du VinA thoroughly French affair here with a romantic. candlelit restaurant at the heart of this utterly chic hotel which made such magnificent use of the old eye hospital in the city's suits quarter. There's no music. which may disappoint Charles Aznavour fans. but it's popular enough to have a constant background buzz of contented diners. Â The menu covers all the basic French bistro bases with invention and a little fusion flair. Expect a lot of fish and a healthy gallic respect for offal and bunny. Service is eager to please and predominantly French and the wine list. naturally. is stupendous. See the original Post review on the archive page.
