The top floor restaurant at House of Fraser is something of an institution in Birmingham.

 For years. it has been the chosen watering-hole and resting place of the weary shopper. It has though. as you'd expect. kept neatly up to date.

 It's as spacious and airy as ever. with the tables enjoying a decent amount of space. but now touches of lilac - whether in the leather seats or the patches of carpet skirting the blond wood floor - keep the look contemporary and stylish.

 The other thing to change of course is the panoramic views from two sides of the restaurant of Birmingham's ever-developing skyline.

 A large self-selection area in the restaurant entrance offers a wealth of easily-accessible hot and cold choices. whether you're after just a snack or a full three-course meal. There's also a juice bar.
