Liaison When you want a proper 'grown-up' restaurant. Liaison might well be the place for you.  Formally smart. it is the new creation of a couple whose original Liaison in Stratford-upon-Avon was a great hit a few years back. They've since been in Ireland but have decided to return and make Hall Green the surprising site of their latest venture.  Liaison offers self-consciously rather grand food. ornately presented and very labour intensive. One superb starter of black and white pudding with risotto involved chopping up the black pudding and reconstructing it with chunks of white pudding within it. The risotto was contained within a collar of filo pastry.  A lot of thought and care has gone into this food so you wouldn't expect it to be cheap but it's no rip-off either.
