Santa FeSanta Fe has a great waterside view but its interior too - which announces its south-west US roots in style - is looking a little tired round the edges these days. But it's still equally good for a pals' night out. a pig-out a deux or a family weekend treat. Happily. the food is a world apart from ubiquitous chain Tex Mex fodder (although Santa Fe is itself part of a mini-chain and the culinary work of chef Rocky Durham). The Mexican feel is there - quesadillas. chillies. tortilla chips. salsa and guacamole abound - but it's done very well and with spicing that is carefully handled and restrained. Not ![]() |
