Shimla PinksThe Indian restaurant that broke the flocked-wallpaper mould. Shimlas is still going strong several years down the line with a mid-Broad Street spot that may have seemed a little out of the way at one time but now looks positively inspired. The place these days sports a cool. 60s retro look. with swirly lights and hints of Austin Powers. A line of ghostly mannequins guards the entrance and the cavernous space is divided up into lots of smaller seating areas. When it gets busy - which is often the case - it can get very loud.
