Birmingham's first noodles bar. Sobar is a trendy little joint. all low brown leather seats and minimalist wooden chairs in this odd little centre off Hurst Street.

 Music matters and evenings get very loud.
There's a DJ set-up in a corner and a small dance floor for those who feel able to move after fry-ups like Japanese-style tempura vegetables (probably carrot. courgette and onion) served with a nice. sweet. chilli sauce dip and chicken and shiitake mushrooms with pak choi and noodles in oyster sauce.
