Strada is a brilliant addition to the Mailbox. a modern. buzzy Italian restaurant that offers homely. rustic and authentic fare at great prices. from pizzas and pastas to simple grills.

It's the quality of the ingredients that stands out here. from the superb mozzarella dotting a dish of penne pasta with olives. aubergine and caramelised onion drenched in delicious tomato sauce to the smoked pancetta topping an unctuous. sloppy risotto.

This is the food we really want to eat - simple and unfussy but deeply flavoursome. comforting and satisfying.
