Tai PanThe latest occupant of this next-to-the-Hippodrome spot is Japanese - still something of a rare event in Birmingham. It's a smart place too - relaxed. diner-style with bright orange leather chairs and a tempting sushi carousel. The food on an inspection visit got very good notices (especially the salmon nigiri sushi). The only criticism was that a Japanese omelette was rather bland - even with wasabi. Friendly service and a useful location for theatregoers and Arcadian clubbers. See the original Birmingham Post review in full in the archive section. Food: Asian Speciality Not ![]() |
