At last. Birmingham has a decent food pub!

The reliable partnership of Pauls Salisbury and Hales with M&B's David Singleton has turned its skillful hand to a Brummie pub and the result is a winner - and already very successful.

The old White Swan/Dirty Duck has been transformed into a stylish. airy haven with masses of chic yet relaxed space for diners and drinkers alike.

The atmosphere is youthful and buzzy. the food straightforward (pizzas. pastas. grills) but decent quality and done well.
