WongsIt took 12 months of hard labour to turn this formerly-derelict site on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter (just round the corner from Mechu) into a smart - and pretty vast - restaurant. But Henry Wong managed it and now has what must be the best Chinese restaurant in town. The food here is excellent - utterly fresh. brilliantly cooked and packed with well-balanced flavour. just as it should be. The service is friendly and efficient and Wong's extras include a small Chinese-style courtyard if you fancy eating al fresco and a private dining room which can seat about 20. Food: Asian Not ![]() |
