The beautiful Cotswold House Hotel offers two exceptional restaurants - the formal. exquisite Garden Room and the buzzy. contemporary brasserie Hicks (listed separately).

You can't go wrong with either - it just depends on what mood you're in. In both places. you'll get superb food.

In Hicks. the emphasis is on informal. satisfying fare with bags of round-the-world flavours.

In the Garden Room. which was completely refurbished in autumn 2004. you're in the special occasion world of amuse-bouches and showstopping. formal but fabulous dishes.

It's a glorious restaurant. with lovely French windows looking out over a pretty terrace. Service is helpful rather than overbearing and the food is a revelation.
