One of the best pub menus around is to be found at this smartly-refurbished place in a pretty rural spot in well-heeled Warks.

Indian and Middle Eastern flavours abound. from pomegranate and paneer accompanying a starter of wood-roasted pumpkin and finger peppers. to tandoori-roast chicken breast with a green chilli rub.

It doesn't perhaps taste quite as exciting on the plate as you might expect but it's all mighty fine nevertheless and the service copes with its popularity exceptionally well. Definitely worth a visit.
