Not content with keeping foodies over Clent way happy with the wonderful Bell and Cross. Jo and Roger Narbett now enjoy even more success with their latest country pub venture about 20 minutes away - the Chequers. in a pretty village near Droitwich.

This is a much bigger concern and also a lot bolder as far as the decor goes. with zippily-vibrant walls between the venerable pale beams. 

It looks great. a perfect mix of trendy and olde. and offers masses of space as well as truly excellent food.
