MatricardisMatricardi's is something of a shock to the system. Right in the middle of Henley's quaint and chintzy high street. it looks from the outside like a teeny little place but behind this bijou bar area. a lengthy corridor takes you along to a large and definitely swanky urban restaurant. all romantic lighting and smart leather chairs. There's even a lovely - and even larger - garden beyond. The food is excellent too. There's a lot of Italian but also many contemporary European and even global touches. nothing too complex but all appealing and competently done. Friendly service adds the perfect finishing touch.
