Cross at KenilworthOne of the better gastropubs. the Cross understandably gets very busy. particularly at weekends (no surprise there). The well-heeled set love its elegant ambience - the restaurant is like a room from a large private house - and the bar is bright and buzzy. Fortunately. the staff seem well able to cope with the crowds and the whole operation is not only slick but turns out very decent. imaginative food which is often beautifully presented.
