Mallory Court brasserieIf you're after something a little more relaxed than the chintzy formality of Mallory Court's main restaurant but want food that's just as accomplished. then the hotel's brasserie is for you. The menu bears all the hallmarks of the elegant. accomplished cooking of Michelin-starred chef Simon Haigh but concentrates on the homely and slightly more rustic. There are steaks. lamb chump. calves liver and bacon. sausage and mash - all deftly tweaked upmarket with imaginative touches and great ingredients which show laudable use of local produce. Service was occasionally slow - but the scattering of tables through two rooms. a terrace and the garden mean a fair bit of legwork for the waitresses. It certainly wasn't enough to spoil our enjoyment of a fine meal. See the original Birmingham Post review in full in the archive section. Food: Traditional Not ![]() |
