today we had a children's pizza making party.........fantastic everyone really enjoyed themselves (even the adults!) Great value & great staff.

I eat in France too, and would only recommend a place which place is genuinely good. The JF fulfils its promise: to make its diners jolly, in a French sense. Sunday lunch, sans 'le pudding du Yorkshire' is a delight. The lunchtime menu (served from Monday to Sunday) is good value and good quality. The ambience is not posh, but not unbecoming (if the location is unacceptable, you're a perfectionist whose needs cannot be satisified) and absolutely acceptable if you're seeking a combination of good food and/or well kept beer or decent wine.

A real journey out on a cold winters night, but well worth it. Warm welcome, & excellent menu. Fish platter top draw!

Nice, informal place with good selection of fresh fish each day. Good "fusion" style cooking. Always something interesting and the fresh seafood platter is a winner.

Regular visits have found a good selection of fish/shellfish on a midweek lunchtime menu. The new addition of a wood fired pizza oven adds to this friendly country restaurant.
