WaterdineThe term gastro-pub could have been invented for this place (which has a Michelin Bib Gourmand). Ken and Isabel Adams moved here from the Oaks restaurant in Ludlow (now Hibiscus. see separate entry). It's a simply glorious and remote spot on the banks of the Teme and must have one of the best views around. A bar menu offers excellent. simpler fare but the fine dining restaurant food is just superb and well-priced. The 16th century black and white longhouse has some interesting tales to tell - mainly that Mallory planned his fateful Everest expedition in the bar. Pretty rooms available.
