Colwall Park HotelColwall Park and Seasons Restaurant is a special venue. The backdrop - genteel. Daily Telegraph country hotel - is rather staid and the service is decidedly unhurried but it's all worth it for the fine fare. Quality counts here. whether it's an excellent 'pressing of marinated vegetables'. delicious crispy wild seabass or superb 'assiette of Ryeland lamb'. The journey is stunningly scenic too. This is a lovely part of the world and even if your journey home is in the dark. there are pretty light-strewn vistas to feast your eyes upon. As well as the no-smoking Seasons restaurant. the hotel also has the Lantern Bar offering light meals and snacks.
