We have eaten here three times this year.
The first time there were four tables occupied in the restaurant. The second time it was half full. Last time it was heaving. - maybe others have found out about it???.
The name - Sapori Restaurant - to my mind is a little misleading, it suggests an Oriental theme, but in reality it is modern European cuisine delivered to a very high standard,
This is not a Bistro - it is a full service restaurant with linen tablecloths and a fully professional service staff. My partner is on a gluten free diet and on our last vist gluten free bread was provided without any prior notification - That is usually a sign of good things to come, and it certainly was.
On our last visit, the restaurant was extrermely busy and probably overstretched the staff to some extent. However, the level of service did not deteriorate from what was expected of a high class, quality, dining experience.
The Table D'hote dinner menu at £25.50, with additional options for those who desire it, is exceptional value for money.
