This ancient. beamed pub has been smartly modernised and is now the epitome of gastro elegance. all chocolate leather seating and smart tables.

Food is currently just served in Henry's Bar (named in honour of Henry VIII. who once owned the place) but there are plans for a fine dining restaurant in the autumn of 2005.

Expect some stunning dishes. with top quality ingredients and first-class cooking. This is not what would normally pass as bar food - here. you'll find gourmet delights at sensible prices.
