A sibling of the Rose and Crown in Warwick and even smarter in decor. the One Elm is a buzzy. modern place which rightly attracts a crowd.

 Expect some competently-cooked gastropub classics - fishcakes. 'sausage of the week' with mash. pork cutlet. cod and chips - all tasty fare and well-presented.

 If the bar is too busy. there's an upstairs dining room and a small garden too.
