A Best Western Premier hotel. it's a bigplace. with 82 bedrooms. two restaurants and leisure centre.

The menu on an inspection visit to the chintzy and panelled Oak restaurant was rather complex but there are plans afoot to simplify things. both in pricing structure and culinary approach.

It was all pretty well done though. nevertheless. with lobster bisque and braised rabbit among the star turns.
