Pier 39A big stylish place that often packs them in. Pier 39 can have bags of buzzy atmosphere despite being a little hit and miss in the food department. The intentions are good - the menu reels off a list of modern. hearty food. But an occasional heavy-handedness can spoil things. Steamed king scallop with spring onion and ginger stirfry was great. as was a beef wellington.
