This pub is fabulous. Three real ales kept to perfection, home cooked food ranging from madras through vegetable lasagne to steak and fish and chips (described by the entertaining landlord as "half a whale and a sack of spuds") .There's a roaring open fire , but the real warmth comes from the happy chatter and laughter as farmhands rub shoulders with lawyers .Live music events cap it all. Go there. You'll love it.
