Bell InnTop chef Claude Bosi has done a Heston Blumenthal and now has a pub as well as a multiple-Michelin-starred restaurant (in Claude's case. Hibiscus in Ludlow). This back-to-basics place is a gem. especially for those who prefer traditional horsebrassy surroundings to the usual minimalist gastropub look. The food keeps it simple - 'proper' scampi and chips. grilled steaks. local sausage and grain mustard mash - but does it exceptionally well. The prices are reasonable too and service is efficient and friendly. A real find for anyone who fancies quality pub grub and a pretty village to boot.
